Petr Kiryusha's solo exhibition is a collaboration between the Soma restaurant and the MYTH Gallery of contemporary art.

The union of tradition and modernity is a distinctive feature not only of the interiors of Soma, but also of the artist's new series. In it, the oldest genre of everyday art, rooted in the art of the Middle East and Ancient Egypt, is combined with digitalization. Since the pandemic and isolation, Petr has chosen social networks as his plein air. Thus, digital images materialize on canvas, becoming a bridge between the digital and real worlds, and also invite into the artist's reality.

The works presented in Soma have a distinctive character, flickering like an image on a smartphone or computer screen. Compared to Peter's calm and almost abstract paintings of two or three years ago, the new canvases are densely populated, figurative and full of movement.
